Update Miss World 2012 beauty contest

On 21 of July, Miss World Talent 2012 contest. There were 24 contestants who were selected as semifinalists and will go through the finals on August 10.Then, Miss World Top Model 2012 qualifiers were announced on July 23. There were 47 contestants who were selected as semifinalists and will go through the finals on August 12.
And on 24 July, the Opening Ceremony of Miss World 2012 was held at Dongsheng Stadium, Ordos. All the contestants took part in this very special Opening Show, in front of thousands of people,including members and local media.
On July 26, 2012, the World Fashion Designer Ball took place at Shanghai, China. Results will be announced on a later date.

Leila Lopes has newly crowned Miss Universe 2011. She has landed in New York City, this is the first time she has visited the United States and New York City. After the photo-shoot, Leila Lopes gave the first interview to PIX Morning News on September 19, 2011. When asked about the report of a Argentina’s Newspaper that she had used forged documents to qualify Miss Angola in United Kingdom, Leila Lopes confirmed: “I provided all the required documents!”

Do-Hyeong Min won Miss World Korea 2011 at the national finale held at the Grand Ballroom of the Grand Hyatt Seoul Hotel on August 29, 2011. She will represent Korea in Miss World 2011 in London, England on November 6.

A group of Miss Universe 2011 contestants were invited to visit the Pacaembu Stadium and played a soccer match there under the coaching of Brazilian soccer player Cafu. The beauties were divided in two teams: The Golden Girls and The Glamazons. The final score: The Golden Girls won by 3-0, with Miss Costa Rica scoring twice, and Miss Brazil scoring once.
