Model Dam Thu Trang, one of the top 20 contestants of Miss Vietnam 2010, is to bare all for artists to paint natural symbols on her body to support Earth Day on March 26.
Before joining this project, Trang learnt about body painting. She said that the art has existed for centuries and has a close attachment to human beings and nature.

Talia Bennett of Takapuna was crowned Miss North Harbour 2011 at the gala event held at the Bruce Mason Centre on Sunday 27 March. Talia will travel to Wellington at the end of April to contest the title of Miss Universe New Zealand 2011 which could potentially see her go on to represent New Zealand on the world stage at Miss Universe in Sao Paulo, Brazil, the global pageant run by The Miss Universe Organization, a New York–based partnership between NBC and Donald Trump. The 1st runner up was Katie Moller, also 22 from Takapuna, and the 2nd runner up was Laura Allen, 21, of Beach Haven.

Thuy Trang, 19, from the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak beat more than 600 contestants nationwide to win Miss Fashion 2011 in her home province last week.

The first-runner-up was Vu Thi Oanh from the central coastal city of Nha Trang while the Ede ethnic minority girl H' Nm Bya was the second-runner-up.
