Miss Vietnam 2006 Mai Phuong Thuy, Miss Grand Slam Asia 2009 Huong
Giang, Miss Vietnam World 2010 Diem Huong and Miss Vietnam 2010 Ngoc Han
will participate in meaningful community activities this year.
The top beauties of Vietnam have become ambassadors for the charity
program named “ Walk for Life, Walk for Smiles” and they will introduce
the photo book entitled “Power of Smile” in order to raise VND1 billion
($20,000) for the Operation Smile Foundation.
With VND1 billion, hundreds of Vietnamese children who suffer from cleft palates will be operated free of charge.

The “Walk for Life, Walk for Smiles”
will start at 6.30 am, March 20 2011 at the HCM City Opera House. At
least 2000 people will join the walk.
The same day, the organizing board will
hold a charity gala to auction the photo book “Power of Smile”, which
has the signatures of 27 ambassadors.
Besides beauty queens, many famous
artists are also ambassadors of this program, including songwriter
Tran Tien, singers Dam Vinh Hung, Ho Quynh Huong, actresses Ngo Thanh
Van and Kathy Uyen.
The program is also supported by world stars like movie star Jackie Chan and singer Jessica Simpson.
