| Priyani Puketapu Crowned Miss Universe New Zealand 2011 |
Priyani Puketapu was crowned Miss Universe New Zealand 2011 at the Duxton Hotel in Wellington on May 1, 2011. Priyani Puketapu will represent New Zealand in Miss Universe 2011 pageant. Priyani is 20, 5 ft 8 in. Puketapu was the 1st Runner-up of Miss Universe NZ in 2009. She won Miss Wellington 2010 last October.
The first runner-up was Miss North Harbour, Talia Bennett, and Miss Howick, Courtney Ramsdale was the 2nd runner-up.
